MCP server for AI agents
Let Claude, Cursor or any MCP client set up a planning poker room from your issues and read the estimates back. Free, with no account. Agents never vote: a person opens the host link and runs the session.
Add it
Server URL: https://pointhuddle.com/api/v1/mcp (Streamable HTTP, no sign-in).
- Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http pointhuddle https://pointhuddle.com/api/v1/mcp - Other clients: add a remote (HTTP) MCP server with the URL above.
Tools
- create_room: a room with your stories (up to 100) and a deck. Returns the team link, a one-time host link for the person running the session (15 minutes), and a read-only results link.
- get_results: reads a room's results through its results link: each story's estimate, how the cards were spread and the lowest and highest voters' reasons. No names.
- list_decks: the decks you can use.
Try: “Create a planning poker room for the open issues in this sprint, then summarise the estimates when we're done.”
What an agent can't do
- Vote, reveal or accept estimates. People do that in the room.
- Act as host. The host link is for a person.
- Read a password-protected room. Those have no results link, and their content is encrypted.
- See who voted what. Results carry no names.
The room is an ordinary PointHuddle room, deleted 30 days after its last activity. See the privacy policy and trust page.
